"The Burbs", short for suburbs is the quintessential Australian message to the community that we are definitely in a residential location away from the city. Proud of our home, proud of our neighborhood and happy to celebrate Christmas regardless of our religion or beliefs. Over the years we in the burbs collect the latest lights available at the local shopping centre. Our next door neighbor is trying to out shine us with their humorous display of  an organised chaos of wires. From Santa on a sleigh to baby Jesus under a tree, christmas brings us together in this multi - cultural society.  With electricity prices up "The Burbs" is  a time to be extravagant for a few weeks of brightness in the blistering heat of summer.
